update

i feel that i always want to say about a million things on my blog, but then it gets too overwhelming so i end up saying pretty much nothing.

here's the update:

WORK
last friday was pretty horrid; the honors program applications were due by noon, so that pretty much automatically makes it the worst day of the recruiting year. it also happened to be the move-in/registration day for the new spring semester students, so pile that madness onto it. then there were other things too. altogether, let's just say i was glad when 4:30 came.

CHURCH
i had my first leader's meeting for North Haven's youth group today. i like the kiddos so far. i'm really excited to get to know them better. we're going to start small groups on february 1st! woot woot! i do, however, miss the new brighton children SO VERY MUCH. i would like to go visit them as soon as possible.

BIRTHDAY
wednesday. i am having a chocolate party on saturday to oppose my birthday. that probably doesn't make sense, but it kinda does to me.

NORTHWESTERN
the students start classes again on tuesday! WOOT WOOT!!!!! it will be good to have a little noise on campus!

WRITING
hooray!!! i'm so excited to be writing again! i even have a project in mind. VERY excited about this.

BIBLE
it has been WONDERFUL getting into the Word, WONDERFUL. it has been so good to dive in lately; i've looked forward to it. thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your lovely, holy Word.

BOYS
grrrrrrr!

IN CONCLUSION
i have more thoughts! but i'm just not all about hashing them out through my blog. i should get coffee with peeps. call me. email me.

I MISS PEOPLE.
the end.

Posting your anger in your blog is fine, but if you are growling at my entire gender, I would appreciate a little more specificity as to what we did wrong. I know the list is depressingly long, but I am sure a small subset is responsible for your "grrrrrrr!"

Also, when you use the word "boys," do you mean all male humans or meerly those who are still children?
